Upcoming Plant ID Workshop

The I.W. Carpenter, Jr. Herbarium, located in Rankin Science West, will hold a Plant ID workshop on April 29, 2017. It is free and open to the public. Basic morphology, plant family characteristics, and the use of a dichotomous key will be covered. No experience is required. Email Tesa at for registration and details.

The I.W. Carpenter, Jr. Herbarium has recently acquired a collection of Liverworts by Marie L. Hicks, author of Guide to the Liverworts of North Carolina.
